Under Surveillance 7
Secrecy
My dear foxes.
Before you go any further, I should say this upfront. This series started as an itch I wanted to scratch, and it’s taken a direction that’s a little… different. Different for this sub. Different from what you’re probably used to from me.
If you love a slow burn, a story that isn’t just… well, sex, then go ahead. If not, that’s okay too.
At the end, you’ll find a poll. That’s where you tell me whether this one continues or wraps up. Please vote. We all know the importance of voting.
Logan’s arm draped across my chest when I felt the first rays of the morning warm my face. His breathing was against the back of my neck, and yet again, I felt his erection pressing against my back.
I picked my phone up slowly, careful not to wake Logan.
“What time is it?” His hand squeezed my wrist gently.
“Morning, it’s just after eight.”
“Mmmhmmm. Thinking about food, a shower and coming back to bed. Maybe we can do some more up the bum stuff?”
I smiled. “I wish you’d stop calling it that!”
Logan kissed the back of my neck. “Why? You say the cutest things.”
I linked my fingers with his and brought his hand to my mouth and kissed it. “Fine, whatever. But yeah, that sounds like a plan. I need the bathroom.”
A short time later, after we’d showered and put on our Sunday-approved sweats, we joined the others at breakfast.
“Morning pretty boys,” Connor said, with a smirk, like the joke hadn’t gotten old.
Alanah looked up, then returned to something she was reading on her phone. Logan’s leg pressed against mine briefly. I felt immediate comfort in that small movement.
“What are you reading?” Logan asked her.
When she looked up, the way she studied us was different, like the suspicion was gone.
“A murder mystery, an old one,” she said, not looking up.
“You’re the mystery here,” Grant said, inspiring a chuckle from Connor.
“I’m no mystery,” she said, finally looking up, expressionless. “I just like knowing how things work.”
That killed all conversation for a few minutes, as we ate more than we normally would.
